It goes back three generations, to Kasur. My great-grandfather was the one who started making khussas by hand there — and he really put his heart into every pair. Every generation since has added their own years of hard work to it. Same family, same care, same hands doing the work.
60+ Years of Craft
1960s
The Beginning
My great-grandfather starts crafting khussas by hand in Kasur. His work is so fine that one of the most famous singers of her time gets her khussas made by our family.
1980s
A Small Shop in Kasur
The business takes root as a small shop in Kasur. My grandfather carries the craft forward, adding his own decades of hard work to the legacy.
2000s
Fancy Shoes, Shah Alam Market
My father moves the business to Lahore, opening a shop called Fancy Shoes in Shah Alam Market. He grows it into a proper wholesale operation — supplying to the UK and USA.
2025
Chamak is Born
Sohaib takes the reins. Same family, same care, same hands doing the work — now under a new name. Chamak.
2026
Going Online
For the first time, Chamak opens its doors to the world online. Hoping to grow beyond khussas into a full fashion brand, Inshallah.
